Berkeley Electric Cooperative is hosting the first every Bright Ideas 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30 at Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner. This certified 5K is being held to raise funds for the Bright Ideas program which provides local teachers with grants for their innovative classroom projects. This is also the first 5K to be held at Cypress Gardens and there also will be a 1-mile fun run before the main race which starts at 8 a.m. To learn more about the race or to sign-up please visit the official race page and we hope to see you in the swamp this spring!
